After the success of our first Sunday Slide Session we decided to do it again but bigger and better !!

SATURDAY 21st July
Hampton Downs Skidpan

The day will be broken up into two sessions.

The morning will be a test of grip skill with the first Bwarp motorkhana.

The afternoon will be a slide/skid session.

The motorkhana will consist of timed runs, with winners for the fastest overall for each class.

The Slide Session will be run much the same as last time. A basic cone course is laid out for you to practise your drift style.

We will have control of the water on the pad which is an option throughout the afternoon.


$40 For the session of your choice , or $70 for both.



ALL PARTYS entering the skid pan area MUST have filled in the relevant forms prior.

THERE ARE ONLY 20 SPOTS PER SESSION

The normal rules apply as to any meet or event you go to:
No drugs, no Alcohol and no douche attitudes

You will need: A car and a helmet...

Car should be up to warrant of fitness standard. The main things that will be checked is secure battery, seat and no loose **** in cabin.

Spectators are free and the more the merrier, come hardpark and talk some smack.

I was the guy in the black Stagea in the lane to go straight and you come boosting up the road in the turning lane (to turn right into Target Road) then proceed to cut me off and tail gate the car infront of me, you knew exactly what you were doing.
Then driving up Wairau Road you decide to continue to speed changing lanes to get infront of WOW 3 CARS!!!!!

You put peoples safety at risk you loser.
Going by your number plate it was a newly issued plate so might be your new ride but in saying that if you keep driving like that you can expect to lose it one way or another before too long

Limited to 2 groups so you still get plenty of track time. Bookings essential as numbers will be strictly limited. You must have experience on Hampton Downs to enter these night events.

The first one was a raging success, it is much more demanding in the dark, the speeds are slower & the feedback was so positive we will be doing it again. Check out our facebook page for some pictures & comments.

A professional Driver Trainer will be joining us, you can get him to instruct you for a session for only $40, this is by far the cheapest way to reduce your lap times & improve car control.

The driver training group is for anyone that wants to try a track day for the first time in a relaxed, low key , fun & friendly environment, or simply improve their driving skills, an excellent learning day for your family members to help make them safer on the roads.

We will run 2 pace cars in the group so you can follow them & learn the best way around the corners, no passing & no tail gating & we will start slowly & gradually increase the speed.

There will be some classroom instruction at the beginning of the day & at lunch time & we will have instructors to sit with you and assist you.

In the afternoon we will give you the choice of going to unlimited speed, you will need a Helmet & 100% cotton or race overalls to do this part. In all previous Training days everyone has elected to go to unrestricted speed in the afternoon. We get so much good feedback from the participants who obviously learn a huge amount from the day.

Taupo Track Details:
We are hiring Track 2, which is the 2.2m track pictured below:


It will be a non-competitive event as we are not running it under a Motor Sport NZ permit. All timing gear used will be 'un-official' lap times.

Requirements for Trackday:
- WOF and Rego
- Helmet (Motorcycle and motocross helmets ok)
- 100% Cotton Overalls or track suits
- Socks and shoes - no jandles etc
- Fire extinguisher (optional)
- Valid Restricted or Full Licence
- Car cleaned out
- Battery fully secured
- Minimum WOF standard tires (bald tires are not allowed on)

The track is licenced to run in an anti-clockwise direction

No Drifting or excessive burnouts permitted, this is a GRIP DAY. Want to drift, go to a drift day.

No previous track experience is necessary. You only push yourself as hard as you want to. Remember places will be allocated on a first in – first served basis.
