A hearty hello to all SDU members

I have been having a long think about this and many behind the scenes talks regarding the 2009 SDU AGM and due to not having any contact from our president i feel i need to set a date before it is to late to hold a AGM.

So here it is

AGM Date 28th of November
Venue is Drivers Motorsport Bar in Tauranga See web site for details

Meeting will start is 3pm. as we have to be out by 7pm as the bar is booked for a birthday.

I invite all members from the forum who read this, paid or not, new or old, to come along and voice their ideas and opinions as to what they want to see from the club and the future of the club.

Also please advise me if you will be attending, maybe attending or not able to make it, just so i ahve a idea on numbers.

There is a guy called Dave at D-tech Motorsport 9/15 Roxanne Pl Tauranga (07 544 0087) who used to work in the Link factory. It would be of great interest to me (and probably others) if he could give a short presentation on the various kinds of Link and accessories available. Are there any funds to give him a speakers fee? (I'm not in a position to buy a Link just now but its definitely on my wish list).

i will talk to Dayna and Kurt and if they think its a good idea i will have a word with Dave.....hes a great guy thats knows so much and he will be tuning my car when its back on the road, he is a very hard man to catch as he is all ways tuning, racing or flying overseas to tune cars, so i have my doubts he will be fee with this short of notice but will try..

How did the AGM go, any pictures / goss / god ideas come out of the meeting?

sadly there were no pics, it rained . This year the AGM was smaller than in previous years, but the meeting went well and a few changes will be made in the near future, hopefully we will have the minutes up in the members section with in the next week

Omg i drove down for this meet and turned up there at 730 as i had memorised it as that time, ugh fml im such a loser sometimes, keen to see the minutes of it though

I was hoping to have them up for viewing by now, but I'm still waiting to get a copy, kurt if you are reading this please can you get the AGM notes typed up, there are people waiting to get a copy including myself so I can get the newsletter finished.
