Well, I'm jumping into the middle of this. I have recently been preoccupied the last few months and haven't been checking the boards. I was not aware until about 2 hrs ago (when I first saw this thread) that there was a problem with Motorex. I'm currently in the Navy (just past 6 yrs) and living in Misawa, Japan. I DO know from a few friends up here that there was a Navy guy that used MotorEx to import his GTR like a year or so ago and has NO idea where the car is at this time.

I currently own a 1990 R32 GTS4, and the whole reason for me taking orders to this crappy command was to get a Skyline and take it back to the States. (I've been researching this for 3-4 years now). It pains me to read that many of you are having troubles getting your cars. I have a friend that went to Motorex to ask a few questions last week (he isn't back yet). I have personnally been to Motorex once when I was in San Diego about 2-3 years ago. I was pretty impressed with the info that I was given, (don't know who we talked to) and they even let us walk around the garage and look at the cars that were in the shop.

I am 100% pissed that MotorEx is f*#$ing people over. Who was it that said you have been waiting for 5 years? That, IMHO, is BS!!! I would be calling lawyers and everything short of killing people.

I am a certified car nut and I am in LOVE with Skylines. (Even though they are as common around here as Civics are in the states)

I also want to get in on this, "Lets either help another company to legalize our cars, or start our own" thing. If MotorEx EVER wants any business from me or any of my friends (all of us w/ GTS-T/4's and GTRs), they are going to have to get off their asses and legalize some cars. From the prices quoted on the MotorEx site (~20,000) to get my car legalized, I'm going to EXPECT prompt service and HIGH quality. If there is anything short of that, I know plenty of lawyers that would LOVE to get a peice of that MotorEx pie.

Ditty, I think that you are the 3rd person on this site from Misawa! Air Force One is too!

If I had a Skyline I would say we needed to start a club! Good luck with your car!

Are you talking about Collin? Or JD?

JD knows exactly where his car is ....for the time being.....
I spoke to Collin a couple months ago....but I haven't heard anything from him so I assume he isn't too worried. I don't know what to think....but for the moment, I'm not too worried.

I've been waiting about a year and a half. DOT finalization is the only issue now....which reminds me...I need to get off my @ss and write those DOT guys......
